Woman sexually assaulted in Chicago's Loop, investigation underway: police

CHICAGO - Chicago police are investigating the sexual assault of a 28-year-old woman in the Loop early Friday morning.

Around 12:30 a.m., police say the woman was found lying in a hallway asleep. When she was woken up, she complained of having abdominal pain.

The woman was transported to Northwestern Hospital.

Nobody was reported in custody. The investigation is ongoing.
