Woman shot while walking dog in Uptown
A 21-year-old woman was shot in the leg while walking her dog in Uptown over night. Police say the shots were fired from a silver-colored SUV.
CHICAGO - A 21-year-old woman was shot while walking her dog in Chicago's Uptown neighborhood early Tuesday morning.
Police say the victim was on the sidewalk in the 1300 block of West Sunnyside Avenue when someone in a silver SUV fired shots.
The victim was transported to St. Francis Hospital in fair condition with gunshot wounds to the left leg.
No arrests have been made. Area detectives are investigating.
