Bears announce 2016 preseason opponents

The Chicago Bears announced Thursday their opponents and weekends for the 2016 preseason.

The Bears open the 2016 preseason at Soldier Field versus the Denver Broncos (Aug. 11-15), while also hosting the Kansas City Chiefs (Aug. 25-28). The Bears will hit the road for preseason games against the New England Patriots (Aug. 18-22) and Cleveland Browns (Sept. 1-2).

All four of Chicago’s 2016 preseason contests will be produced and broadcast by the Chicago Bears Network. Exact dates and times for those contests will be announced at a later date. Each game broadcast by the Chicago Bears Network will be shown live on FOX 32 Chicago and stations throughout the Midwest.

All four games will be broadcast on WBBM Radio (780 AM and 105.9 FM) with Jeff Joniak (play-by-play), Tom Thayer (color analyst) and Zach Zaidman (sideline reporter).
