CHICAGO - Darius Roy scored 18 points as Milwaukee defeated Illinois-Chicago 74-57 on Thursday night.
Josh Thomas and Te'Jon Lucas added 15 points each for the Panthers. Thomas also had seven rebounds and Lucas five assists.
DeAndre Abram had nine points and eight rebounds for Milwaukee (11-13, 6-6 Horizon League), which made a season-high 12 3-pointers.
Tarkus Ferguson had 14 points and six rebounds for the Flames (11-14, 6-6). Michael Diggins added 11 points. Godwin Boahen, whose 11 points per game coming into the matchup ranked second on the Flames, scored four points on 2-of-11 shooting.
The Panthers improve to 2-0 against the Flames this season. Milwaukee defeated Illinois-Chicago 64-62 on Jan. 5.
Milwaukee matches up against IUPUI on the road on Saturday. Illinois-Chicago faces Green Bay at home on Saturday.
