Report: Derrick Rose considering return to Chicago, Bulls reunion
News surfaced Thursday of Derrick Rose in serious talks about joining the Cleveland Cavaliers.
However, according to USA Today’s Sam Amick, Rose is also in talks with his hometown team, the Chicago Bulls.
Rose spent the first 8 years of his career with the Bulls, but after his MVP season in 2011, he was plagued by injuries. He then was traded to the New York Knicks in 2016.
According to Amick, Rose met with the Bulls front office and discussed a possible reunion. Amick says Rose will choose his next team this weekend, which will either be the Cavs, Lakers or Bulls.
Rose is 28 years old, and last season with the Knicks averaged 18 points and 4.4 assists in 64 games.
Come home, D. Rose, come home.
