Wrigley Fields upper roof to undergo makeover
A major project will get underway next week at Wrigley Field.
CHICAGO - A major project will get underway next week at Wrigley Field.
The upper roof around the ballpark will be replaced.
Crews will be replacing old wood beams with steel, and installing a new weatherproof membrane.
This comes after the ballpark's lower roof was replaced in 2019.
The cubs expect the project to be completed in March — well in time for opening day.
