Columbia University cancels commencement amid campus protests

Columbia University's commencement ceremony was set to take place where protesters had set up encampments in solidary with Gaza just last week. New York police arrested more than 100 people when the university asked students to take down their tents. The ceremony was canceled as tensions continue to grow on campuses across the country.

15-year-old graduates from Indiana University Northwest

Khaya Njumbe started college courses when he was 11 years old. Now, in just a few days he will graduate with a bachelors degree from Indiana University Northwest at age 15. Khaya is working to attend graduate school next.

CPS students walk out in protest of war in Gaza

High school students at several Chicago Public Schools planned walk-outs and sit-ins to protest the war in Gaza. Students at Hancock College Prep held a peaceful sit in Wednesday morning, while students at Jones College Prep planned a walkout for the afternoon.

Encampments on college campuses across US continue

DePaul University students took over the quad at the school's Lincoln Park campus for the second day of their encampment in solidarity with Gaza. College students across the country are calling on their school's to divest from Israel. Some demonstrations have been more peaceful than others.
