Northwestern football team denies hazing allegations

A whistleblower offered graphic new details about alleged hazing within the Northwestern University football program. They reported that some of the hazing happened naked. Head Coach Pat Fitzgerald allegedly knew about the hazing and was put on a 2-weekl suspension. The team released a statement saying these allegations were overexaggerated.

“While we do not yet know whether the allegations are true, hazing is prohibited by University policy, and we take these claims seriously," Northwestern said in a statement. “The health, safety and well-being of our students is the first priority."
