United announced that flyers who need to pass a COVID-19 test before boarding the plane for their destination can now easily schedule a test and be cleared to fly through their digital platform.

At least half of the applicants accepted to United's new flight school will be women or people of color, and no prior flight experience is needed.

United Airlines confirmed that COVID-19 played a role in a passenger's death on a flight bound for LAX, according to a report from TMZ.

Passengers aboard the aircraft claimed that the deceased passenger's wife admitted that he felt shortness of breath, and had also lost his sense of taste and smell prior to boarding. Now, the CDC is working with the airline to contact any passengers who may have been exposed to the virus.
