A woman is facing charges after allegedly stabbing a chihuahua while it was out on a walk with a teenage girl Monday afternoon in Chicago's Dunning neighborhood on the Northwest Side.

Speed cameras have been installed on three of the Northwest Side's most dangerous intersections.

A Chicago police officer is facing felony charges for tasing a man who then fell and suffered a broken nose.

In each incident, the offenders used a brick or large rock and smashed the front glass door of the business. Once the offenders were inside, they targeted cash registers and safes, and took money.

Police are asking for the public's help in locating a 13-year-old girl who was reported missing from the Dunning neighborhood.

No one was hurt in the fire at 4106 North Nashville.

Anthony Perez-Flores — on 10 separate occasions — sold 13 guns in Chicago this year, according to a criminal complaint.

A 19-year-old woman was driving westbound on Forest Preserve Drive, when the driver of a motorcycle turned in front of her, police said. The 66-year-old man driving the motorcycle was thrown from his bike.

In each incident, an offender approached an elderly victim and engaged them in a conversation. While the victim was distracted, another offender entered the residence and took property from within, police said.

Chicago police say the suspects walked into the stores and told employees to go to the back, as they then stole several iPhones.

Two young stepsisters who were reported missing Thursday have been located, police said Friday.

"It’s a sense of pride, and I know we are going to win this war. We already won this war because I don’t know if there are people in this world that are more united than this and we love each other," said volunteer Maria Solonynko.

All Chicago police can say about the burglar is that they wear dark clothes and a mask, and either smash the front door glass or get in through an unlocked door.

A 21-year-old man has been charged in a fatal hit-and-run crash that killed a 70-year-old woman in Chicago.

In each incident, Chicago police say the suspects smashed the front window of the business to gain entry and then targeted ATMs and cash registers.

The seller says that one of the teenagers tried to walk off with the gaming console and the other pulled out a gun. He shot them both.

ATTEMPTED ROBBERY: A 29-year-old man arranged to sell his gaming console to a 15-year-old and 19-year-old. After meeting up for the sale, one of the purchasers took the item and headed back to his vehicle without paying for it. The seller noticed one of the purchasers had a gun pointed at him, at which time, he drew his gun and fired shots.
