Parts of NW Illinois upgraded to 'high risk' category for severe weather

The southern and western portions of Chicagoland are at "moderate risk" of severe weather while portions of Northwest Illinois are in the rare "high risk" category, according to the Storm Prediction Center as of noon Friday.
