Girls Like Me Project celebrates Chicago Day of the Girl

The Girls Like me Project was created to help African-American girls ages 11-17 get in touch with their self worth and help young women connect and support each other in their healing journey. Day of the Girl began as an international day of awareness for victims of sex trafficking and gender violence. Chicago Day of the Girl brings that awareness closer to home.
