Israeli soldier from Chicago says troops are ready for anything

Tomer Danino was born and raised in the Chicago area, but decided to follow in his father's footsteps back in 2016 by joining the Israeli military as a command engineer. Danino's parents are from Sothern Israel. He was in Israel visiting loved ones when he got the call about the Hamas attacks.
