Chicagoans name city's newest mascot: The Irving Park Eagle

Block Club Chicago asked their readers to name an eagle frequently seen on the Chicago River between Irving Park Road and Montrose Avenue. The winning submission took the cake with a .5% lead. The eagle is now known as The 33rd Ward Balderman.
