Chicago gets first-ever Chief Homelessness Officer

Mayor Brandon Johnson appointed Sendy Soto as Chicago’s first Chief Homelessness Officer on Monday. Soto will be tasked with developing a five-year plan to address the homelessness crisis in Chicago.
