Chicago nonprofit uplifts local educators of color

It's Teacher Appreciation Week, but one Chicago non-profit celebrates educators year-round. Surge Institute aims to educate and support teachers of color who can create change in the lives of the students they teach. Executive Director Ulric Shannon tells us more on Good Day Chicago.
