Hurricane Beryl makes landfall in Texas

Hurricane Beryl roared ashore on Monday morning, making landfall southwest of Houston as a Category 1 storm. Beryl made history as the earlier Category 5 hurricane to hit the Atlantic basin. The storm continues to move inland with torrential rain.
