Chicago alderman reacts to nearly $1 billion budget gap: "We didn't do anything to prepare for it"

The City of Chicago is facing a nearly billion dollar budget deficit for fiscal year 2025. The mayor says everything is on the table to fill that hole such as raising property taxes, a hiring freeze and cuts to city services.
