1-4 inches of snow expected in Chicago area Thursday

A Winter Weather Advisory goes into effect 11 p.m. Wednesday night through 2 p.m. Thursday. Snowfall amounts will range from 1 inch near the Wisconsin state line to 4 inches for areas to the south and west.
