CHICAGO - Tonight will be cloudy with lows in the lower 30s.
There is a small chance for patchy drizzle tonight and on Wednesday, but the majority of the time will be spent under cloudy skies.
Christmas Day will be mild with highs once again climbing into the upper 30s. Typically for this late in December, normal high temperatures are in the lower 30s.
Warmer air will build into the Chicago area on Thursday and Friday. Temperatures will climb into the mid 40s on Thursday and then we'll be near 50 by Friday afternoon. Skies will remain cloudy with a small chance of drizzle on Thursday. A better chance of rain will arrive on Friday.
Scattered showers will linger into the weekend with cloudy skies and highs in the low to mid 50s on Saturday. Sunday appears to be mainly dry, but the clouds will likely stick around. Temperatures on Sunday will be in the upper 40s to near 50 degrees.
