Looking ahead, the weekend will bring more pleasant weather.

Saturday will feature mostly cloudy skies with highs in the upper 30s. Sunday, however, will be much warmer, with highs potentially reaching 50 degrees—just shy of the 52-degree record high for the date.

There is a slight chance of precipitation on Sunday morning near the Wisconsin border.

As the workweek begins, temperatures will drop back to the 30s and low 40s, with mostly cloudy conditions.

Precipitation is expected to return by Wednesday and Thursday.
