Jamie Lee Curtis stars in 'Scream Queens,' despite aversion to horror genre

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - No actress has defined the horror genre quite like her.

Yes, she’s taken on everything from Michael Myers, to the evil sorority girls of Scream Queens.

Yes, no one has fought terror on camera quiet like her.

That’s right, folks - Despite a career spent in the darkness of terror, and being the daughter of the original scream queen Janet Leigh, actress Jamie Lee Curtis simply dislikes the horror genre.

But that doesn’t mean that the young actresses of “Scream Queens” can’t learn a thing or two from her.

But as we approach Halloween's 40th anniversary, the thing that sticks with her after all these years is how little she knew about being scared.
