‘Lush Life' showcases the music of Jazz composer Billy Strayhorn

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - Billy Strayhorn penned some of the world’s most well-known jazz standards.His compositions include "Take the 'A' Train,” "Chelsea Bridge,” and "Lush Life".

Over the last three months, the Auditorium Theatre has been celebrating the life and work of Strayhorn in honor of his 100th birthday. This weekend is the culminating event - called "Lush for Life: The Music of Billy Strayhorn.”
