Mix diversity into holiday gifts for youngsters: Toby Rajput

CHICAGO (FOX 32 News) - As we dive head first into the holiday gift buying season you may be looking for something a little more educational to mix in with all the new toys, games and clothes for your kids.

One option is the gift of reading.

Toby Rajput, assistant professor at National Louis University's reading and language program and a children and youth literature librarian at National Louis University, joined Good Day Chicago to talk about it.

Rajput has come up with a list of books that would make the best gifts this holiday season and more importantly, all of these books highlight diversity.
