Strong to severe thunderstorms are expected across the Chicagoland area Wednesday afternoon and evening.

The storms are forecast to move through between 2 p.m. and 11 p.m. Damaging winds up to 60 mph and quarter-size hail are the main threats, though an isolated tornado remains possible.
