12-year-old girl reported missing on South Side has been found, police say

Tylea Vassor, a 12-year-old girl who was reported missing on the South Side last month, has been located, according to Chicago police.

Chicago police are asking for the public's help in locating a missing 12-year-old girl on the city's South Side.

Tylea Vassor was last seen at 6 a.m. on Dec. 10 in the 6200 block of South Vernon Avenue, according to police.

She's described as being 4-foot-10 with brown eyes, black hair and was wearing a white t-shirt and blue pajama pants with stars, police said. 

Authorities said Vassor frequently visits the area of Parkway Gardens.
