Would a trip to the ballpark give Pope Francis a Natitude? Hop in the Fiat and check out the Beltway Series at Nationals Park. Surely the pope would help bring home a Curly W! ....But it wouldn't be a trip to Nats Park without the Presidents Race. There's more to the National Mall than the White House Ellipse, and the Fiat is a perfect way to see it all. Baby pandas are cute, but we know Pope Francis would love to visit with Bao Bao. Yes, Pope Francis: The White House Ellipse looks a lot different at Christmas. You should come back! And of course, the Fiat is perfect for a cruise around the Tidal Basin to check out the cherry blossoms. The Capital Wheel: A papal must-see at National Harbor. Pope Francis would surely love to spend a relaxing night along the Georgetown Waterfront. Gas up the Fiat and head for the Bay Bridge! We think the pope would love a quick trip to the Eastern Shore, and there's plenty of parking at Bethany Beach. Will an umbrella fit in the Fiat? The Fiat would fit right in at one of our FOX 5 Zip Trips. We're still breaking in The Loft-- and we've got plenty of parking room for the papal Fiat. Pope Francis has been zipping around the District, going from one high-profile event to another in his cute black Fiat 500L. With hardly any downtime, it doesn’t look like he will have a chance to play tourist on his first visit to the nation’s capital.
But if Pope Francis can break free for a bit, we have some suggestions to make his time in D.C. unforgettable. Can you imagine the road closures if the pope actually decided to visit any of these places?
