CHICAGO (Sun-Times Media Wire) - A 15-year-old boy was shot in the knee Friday night in the Auburn Gresham neighborhood on the South Side.

He was outside in the 900 block of West 87th Street about 10:10 p.m. when he heard shots and felt pain, police News Affairs Officer Ronald Gaines said.

He was taken in good condition to Advocate Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, Gaines said.
