15-year-old boys charged with robbing Lake View business
CHICAGO - Two teenage boys are facing felony charges for allegedly robbing a store last month in Lake View on Chicago's North Side.
At around 6:20 p.m. on Sept. 7, the juveniles entered the business in the 900 block of West Diversey Parkway and "forcefully" took property from inside, Chicago police said.
On Tuesday, the boys were arrested by members of the Bureau of Counterterrorism Team in the 1100 block of South Hamilton Avenue on the Near West Side, according to police.
Both teens were each charged with a felony count of robbery, officials said.
