16 vehicles involved in 2 crashes in Cook County

MATTESON, Ill. - Two separate crashes involving 16 vehicles occurred in Matteson Tuesday night.

The first crash occurred on Vollmer Road over Interstate 57. Seven cars were involved in the crash and no injuries were reported. 

A second crash occurred one exit away from the first one on Route 30 at Interstate 57.

Nine vehicles were involved, and no injuries were reported.

Matteson police officers were on the scene clearing both areas.
