17-year-old charged in pair of armed robberies on CTA platforms
CHICAGO - A teenage boy is facing charges in connection with two armed robberies this April on CTA platforms.
The 17-year-old allegedly stole property from three other 17-year-olds who were standing on the Racine Blue Line station platform on April 29, police said. A day later, the teen robbed a 21-year-old man at gunpoint at the Jackson Red Line station, according to CPD.
The 17-year-old was arrested Monday in the Park Manor neighborhood. He was charged with four felony counts of armed robbery with a firearm.
