2 boys wounded in Uptown shooting
CHICAGO (SUN TIMES MEDIA WIRE) - Two boys, ages 13 and 17, were shot Thursday evening in Uptown.
They were wounded about 7:35 p.m. in the 4600 block of North Sheridan Road, Chicago Police said.
Both were struck in their legs. Paramedics took the 17-year-old to Weiss Memorial Hospital, and the 13-year-old was taken to Lurie Children’s Hospital.
They were both in serious condition, police said.
Area North detectives were investigating the shooting.
