Person seriously injured in Crystal Lake crash
CRYSTAL LAKE, Ill. - A person was seriously injured after a crash in Crystal Lake Monday afternoon.
Crystal Lake police and fire departments responded to the area of Route 14 and Route 31 around 3:26 p.m. for a report of a two-vehicle crash.
While investigating, first responders determined that a 2015 Honda Civic was traveling west on Route 14 from Sands Road when the vehicle entered the eastbound lane and struck a 2007 Jeep Commander.
One person from the scene was taken to an area hospital with serious injuries.
