CHICAGO - A 56-year-old man was charged Tuesday in connection with a 2023 carjacking in Chicago's Rogers Park neighborhood.

Carlos Stillwell, of Decatur, allegedly stole a car by force from a 34-year-old woman in the 7000 block of North Paulina Street, according to police.

Stillwell was arrested by members of the vehicular hijacking task force Monday in north suburban Skokie. He was charged with one felony count of vehicular hijacking.

Stillwell has a detention hearing scheduled for Tuesday.
