Activists rally against fossil fuels, 'environmental racism' at Daley Plaza

Climate activists rallied in downtown Chicago Friday to demand an end to fossil fuel projects.

They gathered at Federal Plaza, demanding President Joe Biden adhere to his campaign promises and stop approving new fossil fuel projects.

"Make no mistake, anything less than robust, bold and comprehensive action on the climate emergency is environmental racism," one activist said. "It's a slap in the face to us young people who are inheriting a world on fire. President Biden has the power to change this."
