Andersonville shooting leaves 1 dead, another critically wounded
CHICAGO - A shooting in Andersonville left a man dead and another wounded Tuesday night on Chicago's North Side.

What we know:
Around 9:13 p.m., Chicago police found a 26-year-old man sitting in the street, suffering from gunshot wounds to the shoulder and neck in the 5400 block of North Ashland Avenue.
The victim told police his car was in the alley. Inside the car, officers found a second man who was roughly 21 years old and had been shot in the head. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The 26-year-old man was treated by paramedics and taken to St. Francis Hospital where he was listed in critical condition.
Police said no arrests have been made.
What they're saying:
Ald. Andre Vasquez (40th) released a statement about the shooting, saying the victims' vehicle crashed into a garage.
"There were no associated calls or reports of shots fired in the area, so at this time, it is believed that the shooting incident itself may have occurred elsewhere," the statement read. "The matter is currently in pending investigation. We will continue to follow up with the 20th District, and we will share additional updates as we receive them."
What we don't know:
Police did not specify where the shooting took place or how many suspects they believe were involved. The Cook County medical examiner's office has not yet identified the man who was killed in the shooting.
