At least 8 people robbed on Chicago's Northwest Side in a span of 4 hours
CHICAGO - At least eight people were robbed at gunpoint on Chicago's Northwest Side Sunday afternoon.
In each incident, the offenders approached a victim, who was walking on the sidewalk, threatened them with handguns and demanded their property, police said.
The offenders then fled the scene in a red four-door sedan.
The Incidents occurred at the following locations and times:
- 1300 block of North Wood Street on Oct. 22 2023 at 3:37 p.m.
- 2800 block of North Richmond Avenue on Oct. 22 at 4 p.m.
- 3200 block of North Linder Avenue on Oct. 22 at 4:21 p.m.
- 4400 block of West North Street on Oct. 22 at 4 p.m.
- 1600 block of North Honore Avenue Oct. 22 at 5:44 p.m.
- 3000 block of West Schubert Street Oct. 22 at 5:55 p.m.
- 3200 block of West George Street Oct. 22 at 5:56 p.m.
- 1500 block of North Bell Avenue Oct. 22 at 8:30 p.m.
The offenders are described as three African American men, wearing dark clothing and black face masks.
They were also armed with handguns.
