Person found shot dead in South Side alley

CHICAGO - A person was found shot to death in an alley in Chicago's Avalon Park neighborhood on Thursday morning. 

Police responded to the 1100 block of East 81st Place at 12:11 a.m. and found an unidentified male lying in an alley. 

The victim had been shot several times and was pronounced dead on scene. 

No arrests have been reported. Area detectives are investigating.
