Body pulled from Chicago River in the Loop identified
CHICAGO - A body that was pulled from the southern branch of the Chicago River in the Loop earlier this month has been identified.
The Cook County Medical Examiner identified the deceased person as 35-year-old Ishmael Aumzu-Quaidoo, of Sacramento, Calif.
His body was recovered from the water near the 400 block of Adams Street on Aug. 3 around 8 a.m.
Detectives launched a death investigation as they await the autopsy results.
