Body pulled out of 'Playpen' area of Lake Michigan near Chicago's Gold Coast identified

A body was pulled out of Lake Michigan in the so-called "Playpen" area near Chicago's Gold Coast neighborhood on Saturday.

Police said the body was removed from the water around 5 p.m. near the 1000 block of North Dusable Lake Shore Drive.

On Sunday morning, Cook County medical examiner's office identified the man as 29-year-old Spencer Williams.

A man who fell off a boat in the Playpen on Wednesday has been missing; police did not say if the body recovered was the missing man.

Last weekend, a woman's feet were cut off when she was run over by another boater in the Playpen. The same boat cut off another woman's hand.
