Labor Day marks the end of beach and pool season in Chicago's public spaces.
CHICAGO - Labor Day marks the end of summer and swimming season for Chicago residents.
City beaches, beach houses and public pools will be closed all the way until next May.
Swimming at Chicago beaches will not be permitted after 7 p.m. Monday.
The city owns 26 miles of open and accessible lakefront.
