Chicago groups, businesses take part in worldwide strike for Gaza
CHICAGO - Supporters of Palestine joined in a worldwide strike to show solidarity with Gaza on Monday.
A group also rallied in Bridgeview, in a neighborhood known as "Little Palestine."
More than 200 businesses across the city and the suburbs reportedly closed to amplify calls for a ceasefire.
Due to the demonstration, Harlem Avenue was closed to traffic between 87th and 103rd Streets until at least 6:30 p.m.
