Chicago man charged in armed carjacking, robbery on Southwest Side
CHICAGO - A Chicago man is facing felony charges after allegedly robbing and carjacking a 21-year-old at gunpoint on the city's Southwest Side.
What we know:
Datillion Kelly, 29, was arrested Jan. 27 and charged with:
- One felony count of vehicular hijacking - aggravated - firearm
- One felony count of robbery - armed with a firearm
- One felony count of aggravated battery/use deadly weapon
The charges stem from an incident in the 5400 block of South Hoyne Avenue, where Chicago police said Kelly took a 21-year-old man's belongings and vehicle at gunpoint.

Officers quickly located Kelly and took him into custody, authorities said.
