Chicago man charged with attempted murder in shooting

CHiCAGO - A Chicago man was charged in connection with a shooting last November in the West Englewood neighborhood.
The backstory:
Miguel Arredondo, 19, allegedly shot and wounded a 19-year-old man on Nov. 15 in the 7000 block of South Damen Avenue, according to Chicago police.
Arredondo was arrested Thursday and charged with first-degree attempted murder and aggravated battery/ discharge of a firearm, police said.
Arredondo has a detention hearing scheduled for Friday.
