Chicago man charged with attempted murder in South Side shooting
CHICAGO - A 23-year-old man has been charged with attempted murder in connection with the shooting of a 29-year-old woman last month on Chicago’s South Side.
Adale Taylor was arrested on Dec. 16 in the 6900 block of South Lowe Avenue.
According to officials, Taylor was identified as the suspect in the Nov. 5 shooting, which occurred in the 6800 block of South Wabash Avenue in the city’s Park Manor neighborhood.
The victim was critically injured in the shooting.
Taylor has been charged with one felony count of attempted first-degree murder and one felony count of aggravated battery with the discharge of a firearm.

A detention hearing for Taylor is scheduled for Dec. 18 at the Leighton Criminal Courthouse.
The investigation is ongoing, and no further information was immediately available.
