Chicago man shot at car on I-55, injured victim, state police say
CHICAGO - A Chicago man was arrested and charged in connection with a shooting on Interstate 55 last year.
Steve Turner, 30, was arrested and charged with aggravated battery with a firearm related to the shooting, Illinois State Police said.

What we know:
On March 25, 2024, ISP responded to the shooting a little after 6:30 p.m. on I-55 near Western Avenue in Chicago.
The victim’s car was hit by gunfire and they were taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators identified the suspect car and the suspect.
State police arrested Turner on Monday. Cook County prosecutors approved the charge against him.

Turner was being held in custody pending his first court appearance.
