Chicago police find man shot dead in alley in Grand Crossing
Mexican Independence Day celebrations block traffic in Chicago Loop
Friday was the second night of partying for Mexican Independence Day in Chicago. Police blocked streets so the festivities wouldn't spread and block more downtown traffic. Streets were so clogged an ambulance had to take a sidewalk.
CHICAGO - Chicago police found a dead man in an alley in Grand Crossing on Saturday night.
The man was found near East 71st Place and Kimbark.
He had been shot multiple times and was pronounced dead on the scene.
No suspects are in custody.
