Chicago's Mercury Theater to reopen after pandemic closure
CHICAGO - The show will go on at Chicago's Mercury Theater.
The theater on Southport will reopen despite announcing last year that it would permanently close.
The Mercury first opened in 1920, and was one of the movie palaces of the silent era.
The theater says it will reveal more about its future plans in the next few months.
