Chinatown restaurant held up at gunpoint

A restaurant in Chinatown was robbed at gunpoint Tuesday night.

Around 9:30 p.m., two males entered the restaurant, located in the 2400 block of South Archer Avenue, and one of them demanded money from the register at gunpoint, according to police.

The employee complied and the suspects fled the restaurant on foot.

No one was injured in the robbery. Area One detectives are investigating.
