Congressman Jesús 'Chuy' Garcia tests positive for COVID-19

The new moves come as Illinois sees the highest surge of COVID-19 cases since the pandemic began.

CHICAGO - Congressman Jesús ‘Chuy’ Garcia and his wife have tested positive for COVID-19.

The congressman said he is experiencing mild symptoms and is quarantining.

He encouraged others to get vaccinated and boosted as COVID-19 cases continue to surge across the country.
